Furthermore, the devices help drivers easily find their way using several route options, including recent destinations, save favorite locations or plan a new route. The two PNDs also share a couple of features, since they provide a wide-array of on-screen information, such as speed, distance, arrival time, elevation, and distance traveled, fastest and shortest route options, advanced lane guidance in complex interchanges and speed limit display with warnings. The TN30 uses the same navigation maps, but features more than 4 million POIs.
On the other hand, the MOTONAV TN30 features a 4.3-inch touch-screen, as well as a built-in Bluetooth module, which allows drivers to make and receive hands-free calls with a compatible phone through the internal speaker of the unit. It uses NAVTEQ navigation maps, which can be viewed in either 2D or 3D display modes on the 3.5-inch touch-screen TFT LCD panel that also automatically adjusts for day and night viewing. The first new model, MOTONAV TN20, is described by the company as an all-purpose product, providing clearly spoken street names and directions. And the latest such foray is into the PND (GPS personal navigation device) land, the company launching two new products of this type, the MOTONAV TN20 and TN30. Motorola is not exactly going through its best period right now (actually, the past few years have been rather disappointing for the mobile phone manufacturer), so this is probably the reason why it's trying to increase its customer base by branching out into other fields of the consumer electronics market.
